9.00 - 11.45 am. Pre-entry. Novice standard course open to any horse/pony combination, 18 fences approx. height 2'6". Timed course.

CLASS 2 - FUN CLASS
This is for teams of four, three of whom must finish the course. Minimum age of rider 12 years. Minimum size of horse 13.2hh. Each team must have one member 18 years or over. Approximately 24 fences, approximately 2'9" high. Alternative fence at drop hedge.

Special Prize for Burton Hunt Team. Only teams not placed in the first three teams are eligible for the special prize.
Prizes are awarded to the teams nearest the "Bogie Time", not the fastest teams on the course. The "Bogie Time" is a pre-recorded time over the course at a good hunting pace.
CLASS 3 - NOVICE ALLCOMERS (with larger time-saving alternative)
This is for teams of four, three of whom must finish the course. Course as for Class 2, but fastest team is the winner. Minimum age of rider 16 years. Minimum size of horse 14.2hh. Each team must have one member 18 years or over.
