- Teams will consist of four horses an riders, the fastest three to count. The time of the third member to finish will be the time of the team.
- No horse may compete more than once during the day.
- Falls will be penalised by time only.
- Crash hats and back protectors must be worn by all competitors.
- All riders must be sixteen years and over where applicable.
- All horses must be 14.2 hands and over.
- Competitors may exercise their horses in the area provided. They may not ride on or near any part of the course except when competing.
- Competitors must jump all fences in numerical order with red flags on their right and white flags on their left.
- Any competitors having more than three refusals at a fence or five over the whole course will be eliminated and must retire immediately.
- Any rider who sustains concussion will not be allowed to ride again on the day.
- The Judges decision is final at all times.
- Competitors will be expected to pay for any services received from the farrier, veterinary surgeon, horse ambulance, doctor or any other medical service.
- In the event of postponement no refund of entry fees will be given, but if the event is cancelled 50% of the entry fee will be refunded
- The organisers accept no liability for any accident, damage, illness or injury to horses, owners, riders, grooms, spectators or any other persons or property on the ground.
- All vehicles are parked at the owners risk.
- The organisers reserve the right to:
- Refuse entry without stating reasons.
- Alter the Course or leave out any obstacle before or during the competition.
- Eliminate any competitor not adhering to the rules.
- Refuse to allow any rider to compete if deemed unfit by the medi- cal officer.
- Refuse to allow any horse to compete if deemed unfit by a veteri nary officer.
- Alter the advertised times.
- It is a requirement that all participants carry Third Party Insurance for not less than £5m. It is also recommended that all participants have Personal Accident Insurance.
- MFHA Team Chase Rules apply and will be displayed on the day.
