CLASS 1: THE FUN EVENT
Entry Fee £40
+ medical cover
Late Entry £50
+ medical cover

Purpose built Team Chase Course, over grass, heath and woodland, designed for the novice - timber fences approx. 2'9" - 3' plus hedges and distance of approx. 2 miles. Open to all. Against a bogey time which is set at a fair hunting pace. Riders must be 12 years of age or over. THIS IS NOT A SPEED CLASS.

1st prize - £80 2nd prize - £60
3rd prize - £50 4th prize - £40

All teams completing the course will receive a rosette.

'Alouetta' trophy to the winning team.

Competitors in this class may also compete in Class 2.

SPECIAL PRIZES - CLASS 1 ONLY

BEST NOVICE TEAM - No horse or rider to have been placed in first four in any team chase or to have won any BHS points eventing.

BEST COUNTRYSIDE ALLIANCE TEAM - All team members to be members of the Countryside Alliance.

No team is eligible for more than one special prize

CLASS 2: OPEN EVENT (National Qualifier)

+Levy of £10 for The Masters of Foxhounds Association

Purpose built Team Chase Course, over grass, heath and woodland, with timber fences of approx. 3' - 3'6" plus hedges and distance of approx. 2¼ miles. Against the clock - the first three home to count. Horses to be 14.2hh or over and over 5 years of age. Riders must have reached their 16th birthday.

1st prize - £500 2nd prize - £300
3rd prize - £200 4th prize - £100

All teams completing the course will receive a rosette.

DIRECTIONS

From the B3347 Ringwood to Christchurch road, turn left in Sopley, signed to Bransgore. Follow this road to the T-junction (approx. 1½ miles). Turn left Shirley Farm is between ¼ and ½ mile on right. Please follow Team Chase signs. The event will be signed from Bransgore.

The course will be open for inspection from 2.00pm on Saturday 22nd October.

In the event of adverse weather conditions please telephone the Secretary after12 noon on Saturday 22nd October. In the event of postponement due to bad weather or any other unforeseen circumstances, no refund of entry fees can be made, but if cancelled half entry fees will be refunded.

STARTING TIMES

Teams will be allocated starting times by post.

Declarations and substitutions must be made to the Secretary one hour before the Team starting time.

Teams must report to the Collecting Ring Steward ten minutes before Team starting time.
