All participants must carry Third Party Liability Insurance for not less than £5 million which is available through membership of the Countryside Alliance. It is also strongly recommended that all participants have Personal Accident Insurance.

Car passes – each team is entitled to three car pass, which will only be forwarded on receipt of a sae.

Penalty for late entries £15 extra per team - which will be strictly enforced on declaration.

Team times will be advertised on www.teamchasing.co.uk prior to the event

Please enclose a copy of your open team profile (available from the MFHA at info@mfha.co.uk) or provide full details of your team on the back of this sheet for use by the event commentator - this is a mandatory requirement for this event.

The Goring Hotel National Team Chase Championships 2007

Sunday 1st April 2007 at Tur Langton, Nr Market Harborough, Leicestershire

Qualification criteria:
  1. The top two teams in a Coombe Farm Wines “Open Qualifier” at an Open Team Chase following the 2006 Championships (Ie in late Spring or Autumn 2006 or Spring 2007) will qualify for The Goring Hotel National Team Chase Championships 2007 as of right except where four or less teams start (when there will be a maximum of one qualifier).

  2. In the event that either of the top two teams at an “Open Qualifier” have already qualified for the Goring Hotel National Championships, the criteria will apply to the next best teams. Therefore the top two teams to complete who have not already qualified elsewhere will qualify for the National Championships, provided they finish in the top twelve places of the Coombe Farm Wines “Open Qualifier” event.

  3. Any team competing in the 2007 Goring Hotel National Team Chase Championships may only run under the same name as the team that qualified. Three riders must have satisfactorily completed an Open event since 1 January 2005. The fourth member must be able to demonstrate that he/she is suitably experienced and capable of competing in the National Team Chase Championship. At least two of the team members’ horses similarly must have completed an Open event since 1st January 2005. Riders of the other two horses must be able to demonstrate that their horses are suitably experienced and capable of competing in the National Championships.
