CLASS 1.

Eddie ( Farmer ) Hill, Cubhunters NOVICE Class
for teams of four (minimum three).

This bogey time class will be run over a course of approximately 24 fences, height approx 2ft 9in to 3ft 3in. It is intended to cater for novice horses / ponies who require cross-country experience. Please note fence numbers will be red on white. Riders to have attained their 12th birthday.

ENTRY FEE: £76.00 per team plus £2.00 per rider for paramedic coverage to be paid on the day.

The Ann Prosser Perpetual Cup, kindly donated by Mrs. Ann Prosser, for the winning team.

SPECIAL PRIZE

  1. 1st Atherstone Team - The Riley Challenge Trophy, kindly donated by the Riley family. All four members to be established subscribers or donors to the Atherstone Hunt or Farmers over whose land we hunt.

PRIZES.

1st Prize £100.00, 2nd Prize £60.00,

3rd Prize £40.00

Rosettes to 10th Place.


Prize giving for this Class will take place at the end of the Class 2 and a representative must be present, otherwise prize money / prizes may be forfeit.


CLASS 2.

Paynes Garages, National Open Qualifier
Foxhunters OPEN Class
for teams of four (minimum three)

The Open Class is a qualifier for the National Championships to be held in the Spring of 2009 and will be run over a course of approximately 27 fences. Please note fence numbers will be black on white.

ENTRY FEE: £130.00 per team plus £2.00 per rider for paramedic coverage to be paid on the day.

PRIZES.

1st Prize £400.00, 2nd Prize £240.00

3rd Prize £120.00, 4th Prize £80.00

Rosettes to 6th Place.

The Russell Perpetual Trophy kindly donated by Lord and Lady de Clifford, for the winning team.

There is a special prize for the competitor completing the course in the fastest individual time.

Prize giving for this Class will take place at the end of the Class and a representative must be present, otherwise prize money / prizes may be forfeit.


CLASS 3.

M.J. Carter & Associates
Sportsman INTERMEDIATE Class
for teams of four (minimum three)


The Intermediate Class will be run over a course of approximately 25 fences. No fixed fence to exceed 3ft 6in. Please note fence numbers will be white on blue.

ENTRY FEE: £96.00 per team plus £2.00 per rider for paramedic coverage to be paid on the day.

PRIZES.

1st Prize £180.00, 2nd Prize £120.00,

3rd Prize £80.00, 4th Prize £60.00

Rosettes to 6th Place.

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR ALL CLASSES

As this event is held early in the Autumn Cross-Country Season, it is strongly advised that all horses be properly prepared and be fit to compete.
Competitors are respectfully reminded that whilst the organisers ensure the attendance of ambulances, of veterinary officers and a farrier, their services are not provided free of charge.
This event is recognised by the BHS / MFHA Standing Committee, see additional rules page.
Team Captains are reminded that entries are accepted on a first come, first served basis and, once the maximum number of entries in each class has been received; a waiting list will be operated on the same basis.
