Class A – Novice

To an optimum (bogey) time, speed 475 meters/minute.
The course is about 5 kilometers with approximately 20 fences at about 3’ 3”.
Entry fee £80 per team.
Prizes in kind with rosettes to four places.
There will be special prizes for the following teams:-
- First Berks and Bucks—Riders must be either Berks and Bucks members, subscribers, farmers or their children

First Juveniles’ Team—All Riders 16 years or under

First Family Team—At least 3 Riders of the Team from the same family (mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandparent, uncle, aunt)


Class B – Intermediate (fastest)

Horses over 14.2 hands. Approximately 30 fences at 3’3” - 3’6”.
Against the clock - Riders must have attained their 16th birthday.
Entry fee £100 per team
Prize - 1st £160, 2nd £80, 3rd £40, 4th £20.
There will be a special prize for:-
- First Berks and Bucks - Riders must be either Berks and Bucks members, subscribers, farmers or their children.


Class C – Intermediate (bogey)

Horses over 14.2 hands. Approximately 30 fences at 3’3” - 3’6”.
To an optimum (bogey) time, speed 500 meters/minute.
Riders must have attained their 14th birthday.
Entry fee £100 per team
Prizes in kind with rosettes to four places.
There will be special prizes:-
- First Family Team—At least 3 Riders of the Team from the same family (mother, father, son, daughter, brother, sister, grandparent, uncle, aunt).

Class D – Open

Horses over 14.2 hands. Approximately 30 fences at 3’6”- 4’6”.
Against the clock - Riders must have attained their 16th birthday.
Entry fee £120 per team.
Prize - 1st £400, 2nd £250, 3rd £100, 4th £50.
A free days hunting with Berks & Bucks will be given to all competitors.

Class E – Pairs

To an optimum (bogey) time, speed 475 meters/minute.
The course is about 5 kilometers with approximately 20 fences at about 3’ 3”.
Prizes in kind with rosettes to six places.
Entry fee £40 per pair.
