THE COTSWOLD TEAM CHASE
SUNDAY 31ST OCTOBER 2010
If you fancy a fun filled day in the stunning Gloucestershire countryside come along to the Cotswold Team Chase on Sunday October 31. It’s a great opportunity to spend the day with friends and family, watch teams of horses and riders race across country, and support a great cause.
The feature event, the Chesterton Humberts National Team Chase Qualifier, will take place at 12:30pm where the premier teams compete for a place in the National Finals. The day gets underway at 9.00am with the Ruffer LLP Novice and Military classes and the A & E Fire Equipment Ltd Intermediate and will round out the day. This year, for the first time, the Cotswold event is the host for the final of the ‘Goring Hotel Intermediate Team Chase Order of Merit’ where the team who has accumulated most points throughout the year will be crowned the champions.
The annual event is supporting The British Forces Foundation, a charity dedicated to boosting the morale of our Armed Forces. Mark Cann, BFF Director, commented: “To be nominated as the official Charity at this year's Cotswold Team Chase is a fantastic result for us and the troops that we exist to serve. Thank you!”
To find out more about the BFF’s work, spectators at the event will be able to visit their stand during the day or visit www.bff.org.uk and click on the show-reel to see the Charity in action.
Visit the public hospitality Marquee, in the tented village, to watch live CCTV coverage of the event. Spectators can enjoy a drink at the bar, an all day Hog Roast and wander round the assorted trade stands. Admission is £10 per car, including all occupants.
