All participants must carry Third Party Liability Insurance for not less than £5 million which is available through membership of the Countryside Alliance. It is also strongly recommended that all participants have Personal Accident Insurance.

ENTRY CHARGE FOR CHAMPIONSHIP CLASS - £130.00 per Team Please make cheques payable to Fernie Team Chase to arrive no later than 8pm on Monday 22nd March 2010 to the Entries Secretary. Each team is also entitled to three car passes, which will only be forwarded on receipt of a sae.

Penalty for late entries £10 extra per team – which will be strictly enforced. Please note that valid entries cannot be made by phone, only post & email. Team times will be advertised on www.teamchasing.co.uk prior to the event.

Please enclose a copy of your open team profile (available from the MFHA at info@mfha.co.uk) or provide full details of your team on the back of this sheet for use by the event commentator – this is a compulsory requirement for this event.

National Team Chase Championship 2010

The top two teams in a Chesterton Humberts “Open Qualifier” at an Open Team Chase following the 2009 Championship (i.e. in late Spring or Autumn 2009 or Spring 2010) will qualify for The Chesterton Humberts National Team Chase Championship 2010 as of right except where four or less teams start (when there will be a maximum of one qualifier).


In the event that either of the top two teams at an “Open Qualifier” have already qualified for The Chesterton Humberts National Championship, the criteria will apply to the next best teams. Therefore the top two teams to complete who have not already qualified elsewhere will qualify for the National Championship, provided they finish in the top twelve places of the Chesterton Humberts “Open Qualifier” event.


Any team competing in the 2010 Chesterton Humberts National Team Chase Championship may only run under the same name as the team that qualified. Three riders must have satisfactorily completed an Open event since 1 January 2009. The fourth member must be able to demonstrate that he/she is suitably experienced and capable of competing in the National Team Chase Championship. At least two of the team members’ horses similarly must have completed an Open event since 1st January 2009. Riders of the other two horses must be able to demonstrate that their horses are suitably experienced and capable of competing in the National Championship.
