SCHEDULE

1. Intermediate Class.
Team to consist of three or four horses- 4yrs and over and over 14.2hh, riders 16 years and over Approx height of fences 3'6".
Entry fee £80.00 1st Prize £150.00; 2nd Prize £100.00; 3rd Prize £80.00. Rosettes to 6th place.

2. Fun Class / Beginners Class.
Team to consist of three or four horses or ponies. Approx height of fences 2'6". There will be a pre-determined optimum time. The team nearest to the optimum time will win. For horses or ponies 12.2hh and over. The class is open to all pony club riders and is ideal for young horses and ponies.
Entry fee £60.00. 1st Prize £100.00 and the York & Ainsty (South) Supporters Trophy.
2nd Prize £70.00; 3rd Prize £50.00; 4th Prize £30.00; 5th Prize £20.00 Rosettes to 8th place.
The Emma Roberts Memorial Trophy to be awarded to the highest placed York & Ainsty (South) Junior Team.

RULES

  1. All riders must wear crash helmets and body protectors to current recognised British Safety Standards.
  2. A team consists of a minimum of three and maximum of four horses and riders.
  3. The time of the third horse to finish will be the time taken of the team, the time of the fourth horse will also be taken. No horse or pony may compete more than once.
  4. All fences must be jumped between the flags, white on the left, red on the right.
  5. No penalties for falls or refusals.
  6. An error of course not rectified will result in elimination.
  7. Judge's decision is final.
  8. No entry will be accepted without the correct fee. The organisers reserve the right to refuse an entry.
  9. In the event of cancellation,75% of the entry fee will be refunded.
  10. Entry fee's include a contribution towards the cost of the paramedics.
  11. Entries close on 30th March 2010 or earlier if the class is full.
  12. It is a requirement that all participants carry Third Party insurance for not less than £5m.
    It is also strongly recommended that all participants have Personal Accident Insurance.

  15. The number of refusals shall not exceed three at any one fence, or five on the course per horse, when the competitor shall be eliminated and must leave the course at once. The team will be disqualified for an abuse of these rules by any individual  member.

Any special requests for starting times must be clearly shown on the entry form!
