We are intending to run a ‘Novel’ Inter-Hunt Class  at our Team Chase on 4^th March.

Renowned Commentator: Clare Balding will be commentating Open and Inter-Hunt Classes.

“Let the Games Begin!”

The contest will be for 4 riders, from the same Hunt, over 16 yrs (dispensation for 14 & 15yr olds): To ride as two pairs (not necessarily upsides). The first pair takes a “baton” each over the first half of our Novice team chase course. In a designated area, they pass their “batons” to the second pair, from their Hunt. They each carry their handed “batons” over the second half of the Intermediate team chase course, to the finish . Time is taken as the second “baton” is carried across the finish line.  Fastest team wins.  

“Batons”: are to be own creations of Olympic Torch and Diamond Crown; Special Prizes for: ‘Best “baton”’, ‘Most Creative “baton”’, and fine or forfeit for ‘Least Effort’!

Specific rules will be published in Schedule.

We would like to invite Hunts and Individuals to contribute to: entries  and perhaps donate to: prizes, prize money and sponsorship.
