This Event is run under the auspices of the MFHA Governing Body and will be run in accordance with their rules. All competitors at such events shall also accept and be bound by such Rules. In addition the following administrative regulations will apply to the event:
- All competitors (or designated adult if under 17 yrs) will be required to sign a disclaimer on collection of number bibs at the Secretary’s tent.
- All horses/ponies must be over 5 yrs old. For classes 1 & 2 riders must be over 12 yrs; in class 3 riders must be over 16 yrs, horses over 14.2 hh and in class 4 riders must be over 14 yrs and horses over 14hh.
- For the Optimum time classes, the 20 second penalty applied under the Pen Rule shall always be to the detriment of the team.
- Spot checks on hats and body protectors will be carried out at the secretary's tent - teams required for inspections will be notified by phone.
The Organisers reserve the following rights:
a) To cancel or postpone the event for any reason they see fit. In the event of postponement, no entry fees will be refunded. If cancelled 50% of entry fees will be refunded.
b) To alter the course or omit any obstacle at any time before or during the competition
Third Party Liability Insurance: It is a requirement that all participants carry Third Party insurance for not less than £5m. It is strongly recommended that all participants have Personal Accident Insurance.
