Two separate competitions:
1. For named teams in Open events only – ‘The Goring Hotel Order of Merit’.
Competition to be restricted to Open Qualifier events only during season 1st November 2010 to 30th October, 2011.
2. For named teams in Intermediate events only – ‘The Goring Hotel Intermediate Order of Merit’.
Competition to include all Intermediate events judged on speed (exclude those on bogey time), including hunt team event to run from 1st Novermber, 2010 to 30th October 2011. |

| B. |
Sponsor of both Order of Merit competitions is the Goring Hotel and we owe particular thanks to Mr George Goring. |

| C. |
Prizes will be presented at the conclusion of the Cotswold Team Chase on 30th October, 2011. |

| D. |
Points awarded in each competition for each individual event during the season will be:
1st 10 points.
2nd 8 points.
3rd 6 points.
4th 4 points.
5th 2 points. |

| E. |
Prize money to be awarded in each competition at conclusion of Order of Merit.

| F. |
Aim of the competitions:
1. To encourage more teams to take part in each Open event.
2. To create competition between teams each at their own level (whether Open or Intermediate).
3. To create interest in taking part in team chasing at the appropriate level.
4. The Order of Merit is about fair competition and honour between teams, not about money. |

| G. |
The decision of the Team Chase Committee shall be accepted as final on any matter which is in dispute connected with the two Order of Merit competitions. |

In the event of two or more teams finishing the competition on equal points then the order of merit position will be decided using a ‘countback’ of the number of 1st then 2nd places etc obtained during that seasons ‘order of merit’. |
