The stunts were formed in 1991 by Tony Woodward, and competed whenever possible from that point, mainly in novice and intermediate classes, now regularly competing in open's placed 9th at the 2007 championships. Due to scaring the majority of his fellow riders, his team members have tended to change, hopefully now there seems to be some consistency!

Due to the sad loss of Duggan, Tony is absent from the team at the moment, but he hopes to return once a replacement has been found. Not an easy job.

Our first team member is Sue Tideswell and Inch. Inch works best when pointed at a fence and left alone, Sue has found out the hard way that she shouldn't organise him too much. He is fast, and is usually the one finishing strongest leading us home. He is happy in front or behind, just as long as there isn't too big a ditch and no one to go over it first....

Upgrading last Autumn and enjoying themselves immensely is Alan Pacey with his horse Inchie. He does have a longer name but I'm darned if I can remember it!! Inchie has a huge jump, and although he doesn't look speedy he can really cover the ground. Alan is happy anywhere in the team, but the on board Sat Nav does occasionally go a little wayward and the girls can be heard shouting 'left, LEFT'....

A permanent member of the Stunts is Ginny Sherwin and Shoja. This little chestnut horse is all heart, no one has told him he has shorter legs than the rest of the team, so he turns ultra sharp and uses his talent over a fence to stay right up with the leaders. Ginny shares Shoja with her mum, who can be found during the spring season checking for lost shoes as Shoja doubles as her hunter during the winter months! Ginny is in full vet training, and will join us when exams and pressure allows.

Our fourth member is Sherrie-anne Derrick, an ex point to point rider who now works in a racing yard. She has been teamchasing for two years and seems to have an endless stream of talented horses to join us, including Shatsoon and the very handsome Historic. Both are winning ex chasers and seem to relish their new sport. Self confessed as a speed demon and addicted to the thrill of teamchasing. Great news for us then!

Missing this spring after a slight hiccup during the Golden Button ride is Amy Vowles, with her stunning horse Tyson. Tyson moves like an international dressage stallion. His paces are to die for and Amy seems to know that by the smug look on her face when warming up...... Luckily for us he jumps like a stag and doesn't question his rider, even when she misses her turn and jumps the wrong side of the flag! We will now dictate the course to Tyson, in case his mum has trouble again. We hope to welcome them back into the Stunts in the Autumn.
