Pickworths Paradox is a newly formed team competing for the first time in Open classes this season (Autumn 2003).

Three of the team's horses, Freddie, Solomon and Panda are owned by Belinda Walkinshaw. Belinda is a Partner in Hertfordshire Solicitors Pickworths who sponsor the team and specialise (amongst other things) in Equestrian, Planning and Property Law. |

Belinda rides home-bred 7 year old Solomon whilst Freddie and Panda are ridden by Mark Smith and Sarah Knight. Mark is “Chef d’Equipe” having been both a jockey and event rider. He now trains horses and riders from his base at Postcombe in Oxfordshire.
16 year old Sarah whips in on Panda (who is more used to hunting with the Bicester).

| The fourth team member and “leader” is Anita Hall on Liz Hyer’s 15 year old thoroughbred “Chance” on whom she won three pre-novice events this summer. Anita works with Mark breaking and schooling competition horses and making sure the Postcombe yard is run smoothly and professionally. |

The team could not function without the invaluable assistance of Victoria Ricketts our “special events executive” working from her 6 horse horsebox at Postcombe Stud yard lorry park. Victoria has created an impressive Team Chasing file, has great flair with a clip board and gives out the number tabards beautifully. |
