Teme Valley Tigers Ditty By Dr. Sarah Mayhill

The Teme Valley Tigers are ne'er short of luck
They fly through the air, take the wet like a duck
But when it comes to that drop
And their hearts almost stop
And they're leaping from bog and into the muck
One by one, off the edge, they all cry "Oh f*ck!"

Their latest big signing is Sue Little Sue
Round Bicester and Pytchley she flew and she flew
Bold jumping, tight corners and Khan's turn of speed
The rest of the Tigers completely agreed
"With her special glue there's nowt she can't do"
So Superglue Sue, welcome to our crew!

We've only one rider with real credentials
And Nicky with Charlie has all the essentials
Giant fences at Taunton they jumped second to none
Polite at the last, and we still flipping won!
Great skills, competitive, Nick rides fit to burst
She's never more happy than when Tigers come first

The Teme Valley Tigers are ne'er short of luck
They fly through the air, take the wet like a duck
But when it comes to that drop
And their hearts almost stop
And they're leaping from bog and into the muck
One by one, off the edge, they all cry "Oh f*ck!"

Angie rides third on her black pointer Lad
He bites, cribs and windsucks, he's ever so bad!
But give him bold fences spread over three mile
And you'll start to see Angie and Lad really smile
He plants and he leaps, takes strides out, but by Gad
At the end he's up with us that fine fellow Lad

Team Captain is Sarah on Maggie the Mare
From half pass and passage she then goes like a hare
Cotswold and Atherstone, Mags takes all the angles
Whilst her rider on the edge of the saddle she dangles!
But where else in the World would she be anywhere?
Than chasing with friends from the Teme Tiger's lair!

The Teme Valley Tigers are ne'er short of luck
They fly through the air take the wet like a duck
But when it comes to that drop
And their hearts almost stop
And they're leaping from bog and into the muck
One by one, off the edge, they all cry "Oh f*ck!"

Teme Valley Tiggers Ditty By Dr. Sarah Mayhill

The Teme Valley Tiggers finished top of their tree
Grafton, Cotswold and Atherstone, well they won all three
Con, Crystal and Hamish, what wonderful boys
Between them they're really learning the joys
Of going flat out and getting the knacks
Of frightening the pants off the girls on their backs.

Dear Hannah, my God, what an Autumn to start
First time out and she rides like a seasoned old fart
Unassuming and quiet but you can tell from her face
She won't tolerate Myhill going at half pace
For Hannah and Hamish have talent to burn
From big drops to bullfinches they've not much to learn

Crystal and Helen are new to the side
Foot perfect at Pytchley, we saw she could ride
Head hunted by teams from North South and West
This pair with the Tiggers perfomed at their best
So sod that poncey dressage with all its airs and graces
They've tasted the adrenalin from proper Team Chases!

The old hand in the team is that great rascal Con
No matter the going, he gallops on and on
From the start like a rocket goes that big hearted guy
Over gates, bales and hedges the Doc and he fly.
His jockey, the old bat, is just sat on his back
'Cos Con knows his way round ev'ry team chasing track!

A reg'lar fourth rider? They've all come and gone
Neil, Bob, Rosie, Tamara, they too have shone
But the one that the Captain likes best on her side
Who yells out support, but don't fancy a ride
Drives all over the country and goes with the flow
Stomps round muddy fields, it's Hannah's mum Jo!

The Teme Valley Tiggers finished top of their tree
Grafton, Cotswold and Atherstone, well they won all three
Con, Crystal and Hamish, what wonderful boys
Between them they're really learning the joys
Of going flat out and getting the knacks
Of frightening the pants off the girls on their backs.
