View Full Version : any ideas
I am hoping to move my horse up to Leeds, does any one know of any one within around 30mins drive from Leeds who has a livery yard that is team chasing orientated?

Hi, I am on a yard near Otley (about 20 mins from Leeds). There are plenty of yards around here, I don't know of any that are totally team chase orienated but I team chase with friends scattered around various other yards (we are always on the look out for keen members, hint, hint!). I pay £28.00 per week for DIY livery which includes all year turnout, stable, straw and hay/haylage and use of outdoor school and showjumps. Indoor school and horsebox is available to hire. We are able to get in cross country practise by hiring some of the courses around here, one of which is within hacking distance. The riding is good, especially around the Harewood estate. There is always plenty going on within a reasonable distance whether you like shows, sj, xc or dressage. Our nearest teamchases are the Bramhan and Badsworth, Y&A North and South and the Readyfield Bloodhounds. Local hunt is the Bramhan & Badsworth and someone is usually going (mostly me when i can get the time and money!).
If you need more info you can email me at seamus@otley95.fsnet.co.uk or give me a ring on 07950 420 493
Good luck, keep my number if you want to make up a team as someone inevitably pulls out. We are starting at novice level as mine's a baby with only one team chase under his belt, but aim to go open by the end of spring.

Thanks very very much for your reply, I think I may have found somewhere to keep him but if you don't mind I will keep hold of your details in case it doesn't work out.
