Can any body shed any light on the Belvoir ??
I would like to congratulate the Grafton and the Atherstone for the amount of effort they put into creating a good teamchase.

Well doe Burty good round yesterday.

I loved it!! and i'm not going to complain about such huge hedges, they jump brilliantly!

Looks like the Belvoir is off, only excuse is that the grass is too long and they can't get it cut. Sounds a bit dodgy to me.
We were planning to put our entry in at the Atherstone to save the stamp, but were told no entries were being taken as it wasn't running. We haven't lost out, but as the schedule states that 25% of the entry fee will not be refunded if the event is cancelled, i feel for those who were efficient and entered early. Maybe they will waver this as there is no real reason for cancelling, i'm sure plenty of companies would have mown the tracks if they'd tried hard. Only my opinion of course, and i'm sure there's a lot more to it, but having already lost the Readyfield it seems that the season is over before it's got started.

One quick word.....i don't know how many of the 'top' open teams are users of this board, but watching them go round yesterday was a pleasure, i know the open tends to be less populated but the talent from both horses and riders more than makes up for it. thumbup

Burty, you got fab leaps over those two big drop hedges (i've seen PC's piccies, they'll probably be up on the site some time in 2006 cos he's gallivanting off to Venice this week) - but poor old Mac, take it he's not immune from getting a bollocking now he's a regular in the the team

He's fast, got a good jumping horse.......just needs to stick to a line into the fence!

For once i was up with the action, and had a good line. Thought Mac was leading into fence 14 then saw him veer off line. Me being me, always thinking the worst <_< i thought he had problems... On finding he was just allowing Tony through i was cheesed off i'd had to take a pull! Still, all finished well and safe, Mac should be pleased with his first open run.

All I know is that the Belvoir has been cancelled beyond the control of the Belvoir.

Take a look at www.horseandhound.co.uk

Someone has posted a subject about the Belvoir.. :P

You will need to go to the Forum.
