'Who put that ditch there?' :D

Rider power, the poor buggers in the intermediate jumped this as their last fence but we had it removed from the open, and still only four out of the seven teams got round.

Im a newbie to team chasing.

I hunt out with the Essex and suffolk and competed in the novice yesterday.

Was great to watch the open and see ow it should be done!

Although must say these first two fences seemed pretty scary for the novice.

That fence took a couple of falls in the intermediate..in the hunter trial there at the start of the season we all jumped it fine..didnt seem to cause any trouble..but guess we arent travelling at such speed.

Fence 17 caused a few hiccups..yet last year that caused no problems.

Does anyone know if the rider who fell at fence 19 in the open was ok? looked nasty from where we stood on the top of the hill!

PCer, you weren't part of the crowd who cheered and applauded Bryan and I after jumping the 'jewel' ditch together? Would have made a cracking picture, i was grinning from ear to ear!

no..although it was a cracking jump.

I was on top of the hill standing with Buckle by fence 19 in the same meadow as the steeplechase.

I was very impressed with the hedges 5,6,7 and 8..smashing turns there by everyone! Cant wait till one day maybe I can do the ope..would need a bit more 'no fear' in me though!

'due to the stress of current teamchase courses, several horses have taken up forms of yoga to cope with the demanding situations'

whats the bet the guy behind is yelling 'sit up dear!'?

I'd like to know where his right hand is...preparing the tissue perhaps?!? :D

Maybe they should be in our team, do forward rolls count as cunning stunts?

Re-right hand

Well it seems to me, its clamped firmly to his bott, obviously clenching the cheeks alone method wasnt working

With Mac's suggestion for a caption i call for drug testing of all cunning stunts! :o

We didn't have Mac with us as 'I could get to France quicker' was his poor excuse for not joining in the fun last weekend. :D
