I'm looking for a two horse lorry, upto 3.5T so I don't have to change my licence:o . Nothing flash, just fairly weather proof and likely to get me from A-B, not needed for massively long journeys. Under £3000 if poss.

Anyone else get sick of relying on lifts?!;)

yes i get tired off catching a lift!! especially when my yard seem to be going in the opposite direction to me!! NOTE to self....take trailer test take trailer test !

I'd get a trailer, but I'm not sure my metro will tow it very far before exploding in a fireball! That would be a bad thing. So am going down the glorified-transit-van-with-a-ramp route instead. Plus it can double for a (slightly pongy)camper for when i go surfing.:D

nice !!! i can see a couple of surboards swinging off of the roof, and a matress in the horse compartment!! all u need now is a kitchen out of a 70's horsebox, optics of gin and voddie on the wall, an ice box in the shape of a pineapple and u hav got urself a proper VW camper!!

I was thinking more of a hammock suspended between the partitions! Well, it saves the box standing idle in the summer when there's no chasing or hunting! I can't afford to event any more, i can't sell the other kidney...! I like the optics idea - nice touch.

this wsnt so much made up! it was actually wat my moms 80's bedford horse box used to look like (R.I.P) that was rotted in peices!!
i swear by voddie and gin optics and a ice cube holder int he shape of a pineapple.

im really stuck on the idea of a hamock!! save u havin to clean the matress i suppose! if i sold my trailer and u sold ur metro i think we cud have enuf money to start a business in this camper than camp-camping-horse-transporting-surfing-bar malarky!

Not too sure of leagallities of flogging Lidls own 30p a litre vodka in paper cup from the back of a horsecamper, but there's money to be made here for sure! Could give us the capital to start the nagcamper business!

If you see a psychadelic two horse doing the rounds at team chases next season, chances are it will be me - so come on over for a drink!:p

Has every body in horses had a Bedford TK at some point in!?:D

the answer to ur question is yes!!
if i didnt know any better, my moms box was prob handed down from my grandpa to her and if it hadnt had an untimely death in 1999 i sure i would of been granted the shaky old wooden cart to transport my pit pony in !!
the fact it died just proves that there is a god !!

im still recovering from the embarrassment of being rather drunk at the atherstone and getting stuck in the port a loo whislt trying to get a reception on my phone to call for help!! reminder to self to only take the one bottle of barcadi !

:of course the flip side to having my own box, is that i will have to stay sober enough to drive it home! Maybe chauffeur option isn't so bad after all...

No, must remain resolute - I shall continue the quest for my lorry!
