I was wondering if there are any mad people who love fast strong horses when ridden and a sain one when not! My mare is a 14.1,9yo middle-heavyweight cob who is amazing at xc just strong, good to sj,is trainable to D but doesnt really have a ridden temperament to learn it. She was mistreated in the past and was scared of people but after 1year of 1 to 1 training she is a gem! possible small shared costs. For share throughout the week and some weekends. can go to shows and hunting if you want to take her.she has been before and she does get easily excited by them. She lives in or out- your choice:i will buy bedding and feed anyway! the costs would be half towards shoeing and maybe worming. She lives in the Gloucestershire area on a private yard. Everthing included-tack,rugs etc.

Hi again!

I replied to your other message about your youngster. Where abouts is your yard? I live in Bredon (tewkesbury/cheltenham way) so that's not too far away. Your insane mare does sound lovely, I used to ride a 15hh Irish cob, who was as strong as hell but I loved him to bits and he was fantastic at everything (same as yours, nutty to ride, but a sweetheart to handle etc). Basically my mare is based in worcester at the moment but I am looking to move her down this way. I don't suppose you keep yours at a livery yard with any availible spaces do you?? If so, I wouldn't mind working your little nutter as well as mine if you were interested?

Hi Jo! Thanks for replying to me. My mare is actually kept on a private yard but there is one space with a stable and grazing and also a loft for storage. I dont know if it is too far but the yard is in Awre, between Newnham and Blakeney. She could be turned out alone or with 2mares and a pony gelding. The yard owner is lovely too! The riding is ok-there are quiet country lanes or the fields at the yard. There is a bridle path but you have to cross a main road.I would be so grateful for some help because of my GCSE's and not so much time in the winter. Our instructor keeps the youngster at the yard but i share her. It is £10 to£12.50 a week depending on how big your horse is. There is also an open barn/stable that we are going to build some loose boxes in before the winter. We also all share costs of feed if we use the same brand.etc. If there is anything else you want to know then just email me back on this site or my other e-mail-cazonthenet@yahoo.com. Thanks once again!

Hi again Jo! If you want to ring me my telephone number is 07949428405. I do really appreciate your tips on my stressy mare and would also love you to share my mare. Something i didnt mention on the other post about my yard was that if some one cant get to the yard then we will do their horse for them and sometimes they pay us but we dont usally want any money for it!!!!!!! There is only my 13yo sister, my instructor and me at the yard. The 8yo son of the people who own the land used to have a loan pony but the owners wanted it back so he is now also looking for a 12hh pony for loan. My sister has outgrown her pony and is looking for something bigger-14-15hh. The neice of the land owners has a pony but is a slight novice and i help her with him sometimes.(she lives just up the road.) There is also a lady with 2 big fat horses and an old skinny pony who lives down the road too. The people who own the land dont have any pets.
I was just wondering-Do you hunt? Please reply.
