Is anyone else a bit concerned about how wet it is going to be on sunday?

Or has anyone seen the course and know how it's looking?:)

ground is pretty good, dry last two days, bit of rain this morning, bit more tomorrow i think, then fairly dry up to and over the weekend so we aren't expecting it to be too bad at all. We haven't had anywhere as near as much rain over the last months as the Midlands or Cheshire.
Open course slightly changed with a redirection after fence 2 apparently, not sure about the novice and intermediate. Will walk course Saturday and leave an update in the evening. Event definitely running.

Thanks Emma, thats really helpful.

My recollection from last year is that the course is all on good old turf and the Badsworth made a supreme effort to make it fit and safe to ride.

If the land owner is happy to have us despite the wet conditions and the damage we will do to his land with horses and lorries then I think this event needs all the support we can give it.

Last time it was practically snowing and freezing up to the event and it still ran safely, so that proves how good the turf holds up!

Sure we will be ok sarah, they did loads to help the going last year when it was too hard, will just have to see how it walks on saturday, sure the coloured wont mind deep going. x
