Clipping

Hi! I was just wondering if any one in the Gloucestershire area does clipping for a living because i need some one to clip my hairy cob mare at the end of October as we are plnning to go hunting sometime soon! She will have a full clip(including legs & saddle area but she will keep half her face on). She is good to clip so you wont have any problems. Or if you are experienced with clipping do you want to do my mare for me? I will pay up to £20 but would rather pay £15. I would also hire someones clippers if they would let me- id pay up to £10.00 and the owners of the clippers could stay whilst my mare was clipped. I would pay for any damage if there should happen to be any! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reply as i am desperate. You must be joking £15-20 for clipping, you must take into account fuel, wear and tear of vehicle, wear and tear of clippers and time. How could anyone make a living at those prices!!!!!

Can I just second that, you'll be lucky! The very good lady who does ours charges £40 for a full clip, which I think is pretty good.

Well there is a lady who does clipping by me at just £20 for any clip! I was just wondering if there was any one who was slightly cheaper or would let their clippers out if i collected them etc.

I have clipped before, so yes but im no expert. I do have someone who would do it for me and they have been doing it for years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I do clipping! I'm in the Bristol area and I charge the following rates:

Chaser £15
Trace (high) £20
Blanket £25
Hunter £30
Full £35

I know my friend in west sussex charges £5 more than me for each clip!!
