Oh god if I realised there would be people checking my grammar (or is it usage) I wouldn't have had that mulled wine.

Enlighten me, Vixen, a fortnight is a long time in Scribblerland!!!

I used to find writing about TC quite relaxing, as the genre - if it can be called that - allows for a great deal more irreverence than would normally be allowed on the pages if H&H.

Makes a lovely change from writing about tractors and snowploughs.

My favourite moment EVER was when those naughty Hair Raisers wrote a fake letter to the then sub-editor for TC pretending to be the Forge Flyers stating that the Forge was now sponsored by a charter airline and would be known as the Avno Air Forge Flyers. We went to print on this in good faith on the next report

We had a furious phone call from the wife of FF's Rob Statt denying it, and then the next week the Hair Raisers confessed - it was a subtle reference to team captain Graham Smith's receding hairline!!!!

We naturally hushed it up to spare Graham's blushes until writing a piece about team names for a season preview when I felt the need to come clean!

Can you imagine a polo team spoofing a rival's name and getting it published?
They'd have sued H&H into next week! TC rules!!

Fingers crossed that they got the Burton in for this week, Burty, unless Sarah (TC sub-editor) had chance to read the website before they planned the issue last Tues, they wouldn't have known the T.Vale was off (tho I did tell them about the Warks) so hopefully they'll have a space the Burton will fill nicely! It will give us all a much needed TC fix.
Hope you revealed your true identity to the reporter or they'll be talking about this new wonder team Somewhere Else!

I'm sure those interested enough know that the horse I rode is owned by the Tiger's member, Bryan. He has allowed me to take the ride as he didn't want to compromise his teamchasing by injuring himself pointing. I'm very grateful as John is a lovely ride. He is well within the riding weight for point to points, and i'm sure Indy appreciates his efforts.:p We have more horses than Bryan, feel free to buy one if you're jealous!
Good luck in the finals, Tigers..... but please excuse me if I hope the Stunts kick yer ass:D

I cant point never even tried, for that matter im useless at eventing too, lets be very honest I cant even ride .I prefer to get all the fun and none of the cost and of course the admiration of the jockeys for getting their steeds fit for them.:D Buy one ! ! ?
