Well done to you.
Some cracking action, on good ground, and over beautiful fences. As usual some upsets with the top teams, hope all came home safe and sound and not too bruised.
A superb course with good viewing. But could have done without the flippin' wind!!!!

Quick thanks to the Court Flyers for letting me join them last minute. Team chasing as it is I daren't commit until I knew the Stunts were full, and i'd given up the chance of a run until bumping into them. I had fun, hope you did too. Also hope Cowboy is in one piece, looked in a lot of pain last time I saw him.

Thanks Burty:thumbup:

B2B were awesome, but those that came after gave us quite a few missed heartbeats - I had to close my eyes when the Forge Tiggers set off:cool: Not to mention Ship or Bust and the Wasps:eek:

Everyone had clearly worked hard to produce an excellent competition.

Thank you all for making it a fantastic day:D

Yes awsome day !!!!:D I think i have sun burn. The competition was very very hot this year. Well done B2B, Fred (anita) rowan ben and Milly and of course Mark, and Belinda and all of the crew, poetry in motion. i had a fantastic time. Big up to Teme Valley who were in pole position for a win, i hear that nicky is ok after what looked like a really nasty fall (was standing at the top of the hill when it happened and it was not pretty-must have hurt) Sarahs words were very well received, what a wonderful lady . Well done everyone. I dont have any nails left ! Waiting for the last few teams to go was soooo nerve racking. Fred was beaming from ear to ear:thumbup: Rowan reckons its better than point to point Ben was overwhelmed and Im going to allow myself to bask in the reflected glory, just a little bit, cos Im NO.1 groupy;)

Last I heard Rowan was off to pub with the shipley bros and Ben and Milly were off to friends party or wedding, would love to see video of Bens speech. Cant wait to see vid of today.
Major hilarity getting trailor back to owner, only took us 20 mins to reverse out of Belindas drive instead of the 30 this morning! damn thing had a mind of its own and I kept breaking down in floods of laughter whichever way we turned the wheel it still trundled in the same direction. Will definately have to get nice man to fix belindas lorry, or i will split my sides and die laughing!

Well done the stunts, I take it you managed to find Tony and unite him with his horse ?

Dont think Jim could fix it! B's lorry is bit like Trigger's broom. Freddie says he was such a star today he deserves a new lorry. Liked the new fences in the course today.

What on earth is triggers broom? Dont tell freddie cos its a secret, but I think belinda has been looking at a new mode of transport, I rather liked the pink one.:D Other than that B was going to run a team of six in front of her old lorry, Freddie Bruce, Panda, Donna Heckie and Pol.

Trigger is from Only Fools and Horses, he had the same broom for years but it had new handles and heads so it wasnt the same broom at all....he was a bit thick. Dont worry, you had to be there! Wont tell Freddy bout new limo but please dont get him a pink one he would be so embarressed. Bruce would love it!

Am I mistaken or are the times wrong on the results? They seem to show that the Stunts were faster than the team placed 8th... :sceptic:

Couldn't believe it yesterday - Daisy munching haylage at Oliver's yard only a couple of minutes away from the championships when she could have been joining the Stunts for the finals! And me training baby horse... Oh well! :(

Sounds like it was a fantastic day! Well done all!

see what you mean, don't know if it's a typo as can't remember our exact time, no doubt Burty or Tony will remember

Shame we didn't have Daisy to chase around, we were getting used to having a fast lead. (would have cruised past on the run to the last though Rachel)

We had an ok round, cocked up the pen as Duggan and Blue had brake failure, which left Ed in front, (despite being in 4th) Duggan then tried to join Ed on his horse 2 fences later, then at the gorge Minxy fell asleep(on nights, didn't walk course) but woke up in time to jump it at the second attempt, then on the tight turn at the top of the course a fierce gust of wind caught Emma1s hair and pushed her so wide she jumped the wrong fence and had to retrace. It was very quiet in front at that point, I finished with Ed not far behind with the girls playing catch-up.

It was good enough for 9th place but could have been much better, theres always next year :)

Thanks to everyone who came to support us, it is appreciated.

Special mention to Emma1 for providing the 'Fernie Jumping Juice' although I didn't pull any top totty as the bottle suggested I would.

If anyone is interested the girl who was taken off in the ambulance is ok (essex thrusters?) because I x-rayed her when I got to work. Just what you need a 12 hour night shift after being at the champs all day!

Ah Tony she must have felt better for seeing you though, smiling face in a white gown. Did you x-ray the right bit after all the jumping juice:D

Hmmm, not so sure you'd have cruised past Daisy at the last now Tony! I don't know what Oliver's feeding her but she's not half getting some quick times XC. Must ask him what his secret is. She beat all sorts at Gatcombe last week, including Daisy Dick with Spring Along!

Really really wish I'd been able to join in at the Championships. Would have loved a race down to the line!

Wanted to come and support anyway, but my mother is inconveniently going off to France for the next two weekends so I had to borrow her for XC schooling whilst I could! Can't think why insurance companies want you to be accompanied whilst schooling XC...

Don't suppose a baby stunts team will be out at the Warwickshire or Y&A South? What's the intermediate track like at the Y&A South?

now they aren't running an open class i'm not sure which fences they will be using in the intermediate. However, it's never been known for being a big course - even the open - so not expecting anything taxing.
Looking to have a last run of the season there just for the day out as is close to home, so if any competitive teams want a lead horse, give me a shout.
